The room size

We ask for drinks (coffee/tea) during breakfast time (as we ordered room with bfast) but they didn't allow us to have it, the reason was because we have ordered take away our breakfast. But I just don't get it, as long as I know whenever I stay at hotel they will allow me to still have coffee/tea. But well, okay. I just don't get it.

no coffee machine in hotel! must be kidding you stuck with instant coffee. bad room design, water flowing out when shower, electrical outlet not place properly, can be hard charging your laptop while working at the desk, room is not sound proof.

Check in process was fuss-free and fast, the receptionist was very friendly and made me feel very welcomed. To my surprise, I was handed in a welcome drink which was very unique and I loved it! The room is huge and spacious, minimalist and highlights the industrial elements and vibe. The bed is soo soo comfy that I almost didnt want to get out from the bed the next morning. The shower is separated from the toilet so if you travel with friends it shouldnt be a problem to share the bathroom area. At first I thought the location is a bit far from the city, but I was surprised that actually it only took 15-20mins drive from the hotel to the Malioboro area. It is also close to the famous soto kadipiro outlet and there are also gudeg yu djum and gudeg song djie nearby. All in all, it was a nice stay and dont forget to take lots of pictures because this hotel is one of the most instagrammable hotels around! Recommended!

Industrial vibe and the room, it is spacious and clean. Staffs are pretty helpful, booked here one night and extend for another night. The I am NO PLASTIC glass bottle in the room is brilliant. Love it...

Perfect stay...

Staffs are extremely helpful and informative, more than willing to assist. Room is very spacious and carries strong industrial elements throughout. One thing that I love the most is that this hotel has replaced its water bottle to the glass ones and no more plastic straws in the restaurant! Talking about being more eco-friendly. Towels and bedsheets changing are optional too! Emphasizing to reduce food wastage, the breakfast is served in semi-buffet style; that means your main course and egg dishes are freshly cooked, while you could enjoy the bread, homemade cakes, brownies (the best!), cereals, milk, coffee, tea and coffee on the buffet table. Location is not a problem at all, being located in the ring road that means easy access to explore the city, the famous kadipiro soto is about 10mins away, whereas malioboro is a good 15-20mins, as well as prawirotaman area. Also, the location also allows you to beat the traffic to and from the airport too! (Ask the driver to go through the North or South ring road) Not forgotten to mention its unique welcome drink and your daily dosage of vitC drink in the room is complimentary! Highly recommended, will definitely return!

I do like the industrial concept.

I don’t like the location and the vibes. Also I would say that the food was freaking expensive and the taste was just okay. They will charge you 35K for tempe mendoan and the portion is so tiny. Also, when we stayed there, we did the early check out, since the room was creepy. We experienced weird things. This is my honest review, don’t feel offended.

The room size is super big.

This is a minimalist industrial design expensive hotel. It has minimal furniture in the room and an ambience of uncompleted works. The worst is the bed coz it squeaks and the first night we did not get a good sleep due to the creaky sound everytime we move on the bed. As a traveller, a good night sleep is of utmost importance and the room did not provide one. At last we ask the staffs to put the mattress on the floor and solved the creaky sound. The management should consider changing the beds as there is nothing more annoying than a squeaky bed, or else you will not have repeat patrons.

Room was very spacious. Good industrial design at the lobby with nice coffee milk as welcome drink.

Upon check in, staff told us that the room available were only twin beds, which we booked for double bed. We had no other options but to requested to join the twin bed. When we entered the room, it were totally different from the photos from booking.com. Head shower were in a bad condition.

Usually I do not review, however , those guys deserve nothing but compliments. Brand new venue, soft opening operating system,staff xtremely polite and respectful, eager to please u to the core. As a seasoned traveler (45 + countries visited) I could say without a doubt Amartya was the best value over money ever paid. Would cost 30/40 % more and still be cheap. Breakfast with fresh products and made by order food. Fluffy towels, great quality amenities, huge bed/ bedroom. The downside is those guys pampers you so much you get spoiled !

A little far from downtown but 2/3 USD will get you there.

The best service of Java. No need to ask for anything cause they will offer it themselves. Every day we had a clean room like we just arrived. The food is great. During the morning you can choose 2 dishes and there is a buffet as well. They offered a free high tea every day with great food from 2-5 pm.

Nothing not to like about this hotel. Unless you really want to have a swimming pool.
